My Fitness Philosophy:

As a rock climber, I learned early on that it takes time, a lot of time sometimes, to reach the heights to which I had my sites set on. Slowly building the strength, endurance and techniques that were necessary for the rocks that were most appealing to me. It took me a few years to achieve my initial goals which were to climb a 5.12 and boulder V6.  The excitement that I felt when I climbed a 5.12 and did a V6 was so intense, I remember feeling very shaky after both routes, not because the climbing was hard, but because I just did what I had worked so long and hard for. After that, I knew that I could do anything if I put my mind and my effort into it. Even after having setbacks from minor injuries, I know that it is possible to reach any goal with just a little patience, persistence and hard work.

I believe in setting small, realistic goals that when achieved the sense of victory is enough to set another realistic goal, then another and another. Many of us fail in our health and fitness goals because set our sites too high, when all we really need to do is start small, be consistent, keep it simple and be patient.
As my clients, you are individuals, all with unique and varying needs. My goal is to instill in you a knowledge and affirmation of self that stays with you for life.
My style of training is movement based strength training.

My sincerest desire is to guide, support and
encourage you through your fitness, mindset and lifestyle journeys. I believe that it is never too late to become more physically active and live a healthier lifestyle.

Regular physical activity can help to reduce pain, lower stress levels, increase energy, and it can reduce the risks of injury and heart disease. Along with a healthy, well balanced diet there's no end to the possibilities for attaining and managing a long, healthy, happy life.
